When I first began my HND in games design, our first individual project was to create a 2.5D platformer around any kind of concept we liked. I had just come off of playing Assassin's Creed: Odyssey and was full of interest in ancient Greek and Persian history.

Once I was given the brief I immediately began writing out different ideas and levels, coming up with interesting puzzles and story elements. However as I was quite early into my course, I was only able to develop a short prototype with a couple of puzzles mixed in.

Looking back now I would definitely have done things differently, however, it was a great learning experience and I've definitely grown creatively from it.
